We are very proud to have made a significant contribution to the Gaylord National Resort and Conference Center, the only waterfront resort in the Washington D.C. area, during its construction over two and half years. This incredible property boasts 2,000 rooms, a 19-story spectacular glass atrium providing sweeping views along the Potomac River, and is, in of itself, a thriving destination of entertainment, shopping, and dining.
dpM Partners provided Gaylord Entertainment a vital and comprehensive exterior envelope quality control program during construction. Specifically, we provided critical daily inspections and reports, held pre-installation conferences, implemented ASTM testing of the exterior’s components as well as provided interior guestroom punch services during the construction and turn-over phases of the project. Our objective consulting service also assisted the ownership’s team with scheduling and value engineering while ensuring the highest quality results.
This 2.7 million square feet luxury hotel and spa has become a world-class, four diamond resort and we are pleased to have performed a key role during the building of this area crown jewel.
